Our first rehearsal for the 2017-2018 concert year will be Monday, September 11 at Mount View Presbyterian Church in White Center. Rehearsals run from 7:30 -9:30PM.

We currently need flute, clarinet, horn and tuba players. Other openings will be posted as soon as they are available, so keep checking back!

Our year begins on the first Monday after Labor Day and continues until the middle of May.

Dues are $100 for the entire season (September to May), or $50 for the combined Fall and Holiday series, and $50 for the combined Winter and Spring series of concerts.

In addition to donations, dues help pay for the rent on our rehearsal space, the salary for our music director, and the other expenses we incur to meet our mission of bringing live performances to the musically underserved.

We do not require auditions. Musicians who have not played for some time are encouraged to return to their instruments and lend their talents to the group. We strive to provide a fun, non-competitive, and improvement-oriented experience.

We post openings at the top of this page and update it as seats become available or we need more instruments.

Musicians young and old are welcome with the following qualifications. In addition to having your own instrument, you should be able to:

  • Read music for your instrument,
  • Play at a high school level or better,
  • Be willing to commit to the rehearsal and concert schedules,
  • Be able to get to and from rehearsals and concerts.
